About me

I moved to Colorado from Seattle, Washington in 1993. I’ve led a life illustrated by a passion for outdoor sports and nature. Alpine and telemark skier, snowboarder, climber, surfer, fly fisherman, mountain biker, yoga and Brazilian jiujitsu practitioner, I’ve really done some damage to my body, but it’s been worth it.

I own a small place in southern Baja, Mexico where I surf, relax and spend time with good people near the ocean.

Throughout these intense physical experiences, I’ve been fortunate to gravitate towards exploring my own mental health and well-being. Meditation, therapy, coaching and journaling play a huge part in creating a healthy balance in my life.

I am a parent to a bright and dynamic young boy who was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes two years ago. Fatherhood has been a humbling, eye-opening and beautiful experience that challenges all of my pre-conceived notions, and forces me to be better in every way.

I am a proponent of researching and integrating healthy, holistic and healing practices into my life to ensure my capacity to serve. I am inspired by simplicity, compassion, the wisdom of Eastern and Western spiritual practices, and good people I meet along the way. I love sharing these tools and lessons with my clients and friends.

I particularly enjoy reading and learning about Zen Buddhism, athletic performance, grief, parenting, relationships, mindfulness and healthy habits.
